I want to quit my job right now, and be an opal miner...is it too cold right now to dig?

I saw your mine on the Travel Channel for the second time and fell in love with the Opals people are finding . I usually go panning for Gold when I go to California to visit my brother, But the next visit I want to go to your Opal Mine in NV. I know you got to work hard to find them and that's what I plan on doing . Great site you have here .

Was wanting to fly down in our single engine 1947 Stinson 108-3 with my husband and dig in the opal shelves. Where is the closest place to you to land and get a rental car to get to your place. Sounds like an adventure we would enjoy. Thanks Patricia

My dad has always been interested in treasure hunting and he got me into it by taking me arrow hunting with him when I was younger.I am trying to plan a trip out there so we can visit your mine, but I wasn't sure how many days would be best to put aside for digging. Do people usually find anything in their first day?? Or does it take a few? Thanks! Great site!

We plan on going to Disneyland next summer and after watching you on the Travel Channel, stopping in for a visit is definately in the plans. May end up just being a bust but, you never know and who couldn't use a couple thousand extra.........

I am interested in firey opals yet it would be hard for me to plan a trip out that way. If any one could help set me up with a lot of rough firey opals it woul be appreciated.
