We're starting to save gas money now. Planning how to pack our Tear Drop trailer. The dog is ready. Making a list and checking it twice. We will be there in 2006 to find our ...whatever comes our way. How far in advance should we make our reservations and what if it "rains" (sorry about the cuss word)? We can hardly wait. Thanks.

Joy & Harry, we had a great time! We found some big black opal. We found lots of little opals. It's hard work but well worth it! We found the one of the best tools was an ice pick for getting out the opal carefully. Bring a chair for rests. It's a great time....

MY birthstone is an opal , and I have always wanted a black opal, but I always thought you could get those from Australia. It was nice to learn there was someplace closer to find them. THE only problem with your website is, you need to give more info, I learned more from the Travel Channel, then your website.
