I guess that there are not many people from Hawaii who come to dig for opals. I can tell people from Hawaii that I acutally did that and I want to come back again next year and do it again.

Loved the program on the Travel Channel! Would love to see a FAQ on your website as I read through the comments it looks like it would be very handy for you. Also, a section for people to share their stories would answer alot of questions too. Your mine looks like fun and I hope to see you all there soon.

Just got home from 3000 mile trip to mine. Spent all day at mine and found little. Could have had a little pre-dig education such as what to look for & where. Denio Junct. very nice people & great food. Nice scenery. Would visit if in the area but would definitely not make a special trip just to dig. Hot, hard work not very well organized.

My son and I are looking forward to visiting the mine, and enjoying a little camping, a little digging, and a lot of relaxation, and maybe enough found booty to pay for the gas
